King of the Herbs
I’ve just come back from the vet. I was going to blog earlier about how my cat’d peed on a picture of Cllr. Warmisham on the way (sorry John). Sadly though, that post is confined to the bin as poor Parsley turned out to have had kidney failure and I’ve just been with him while the vet administered the final injection. Having to sit in the waiting room while the desk staff added euthanasia to my bill was not nice. I’m glad I was with him – he’d been part of the family for ten years, having been born on the day of our wedding. My vet’s bill tells me that the Chancellor has taken £7 pounds of VAT for euthanasia. There are quite a few things I resent the chancellor profiting from, the death of my cat has just been added to the list.

I am so sorry; my lovely dog Seth got his third lump identified on Friday and its now inoperable- he’s taking steroids which are working well at the moment. It at some point he’s going to need to be put down.
I’m sure Parsley had a lovely life with you and my sympathies go out to you.
